Privacy policy

This policy replaces the previous page, which was an unfinished template. It left the company name blank and described an advertising marketplace DSO does not run. This is the policy for DSO Technologies, 200 Abbey Lane, Logan Township, NJ 08085, dan@dsotechnologies.com, (609) 741-7131. It covers dsotechnologies.com and rtidrivers.dsotechnologies.com.

What we collect

Why

To answer you, to sell and deliver a license, to detect abuse, and to revoke a key that was refunded or transferred. We do not sell personal information. We do not run ads against a profile of visitors.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes the payment. Cloudflare hosts the sites, the API, and the database. The email provider (Resend, unless Dan switches it) delivers mail. They process that data to provide those services. A processor MAC is an address of equipment, and it is on the license key the buyer receives.

Cookies and the human check

The marketing contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which sets a cookie and checks the browser so the form is not a script. The store admin page stores its login token in the browser’s session storage. There is no advertising cookie and no analytics tag on this redesign. The old WordPress site used Google tags G-7DDBB2FYPM and AW-16953108285. Those were not copied.

How long

Orders, licenses, transfers, and check-ins are kept while the license matters and for ordinary bookkeeping after a refund. Email is kept with the mailbox. You can ask Dan to correct or delete contact details. A license record may be retained after a deletion request where it is needed to show what was sold or revoked. Backups can lag the live database.

Your requests

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, a limit on processing, or a copy of what you sent, by emailing dan@dsotechnologies.com. You can also complain to a regulator. If you are in a place that requires a named supervisory authority, email Dan and he will point you at the right office. Withdrawing consent does not unwind a license you already bought. It does stop us using your address for anything new.
